Wood - Ronca

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - Kristen Marie Wood and Matthew Stephen Ronca were united in marriage June 22, 2002 in First Parish Church, York.

The Rev. Linda Hirst officiated at the ceremony.

Violinists were Louise Kandle and Christine Stuart.

Readings were offered by Kimberly LaPointe, Karen Fuchs and David Rogers, siblings of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest H. Wood of South Berwick and was given in marriage by her parents.

The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. John Anderer of York, Maine.

Jessica Rascionato of Norwalk, Conn. was maid of honor for her friend. Bridesmaids were Cristen Ronca and Sally Anderer, sisters of the groom. Olivia Ronca, the groom’s niece, was the flower girl.

Paul Ronca was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Matthew Hutchins and James O’Hara, friends of the groom and Jack Anderer, brother of the groom. Nathan LaPointe, the nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.

The reception was held at the York Golf and Tennis Club.

Mrs. Ronca is a 1991 graduate of Marshwood High School and a 1993 graduate of the College of Lifelong Learning. She is a nanny for a family in York.

Mr. Ronca is a 1990 graduate of York High School and a 1995 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of science degree. He is an employee of Hawk Associates in York.

Following a honeymoon on Young Island, St. Vincent, they are making their home in York.
