PORTSMOUTH - Mary Lee Clancey of Brentwood and Ted Christopher Mahoney of Portsmouth were united in marriage June 1, 2002, in St. Catherine of Siena Church.
Lisa Defeo and Kevin Hartson, the bride’s cousins, and Erin Mahoney, the bridegroom’s sister, offered the readings.
The bride is the daughter of Mary F. Clancey of Brentwood and the late Frank T. Clancey, and was given in marriage by her uncle, Peter W. Towler of Concord, Mass.
The bridegroom is the son of Theodore and Donna Mahoney of Portsmouth.
Erin Price of Shorewood, Ill., was the maid of honor.
Bridal attendants were Deborah Brewer of Stratham, Thaise Latour of Dover, Colleen Mahoney of Manchester, the bridegroom’s sister, and Jennifer McKenzie of Portsmouth.
Emma Cannistraro of Concord, Mass., was the bell girl.
Shawn Richer of Portsmouth was the best man.
The groomsmen were David McKenzie of Portsmouth, Kevin Roberge of Louisville, Ky., Tony Scheer of Weston, Fla., and Matthew Tobey of Greenland.
Mrs. Mahoney is a 1993 graduate of Exeter AREA High School, a 1994 graduate of Tilton School, and a 1999 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University.
She is a site director for Great Bay Kids in Exeter.
Mr. Mahoney is a 1994 graduate of Portsmouth High School and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business science at Hesser College.
He is an assistant manager with Toys R Us in Newington.
Following a honeymoon in California, they are making their home in Dover.
