The bridegroom is the son of John and Suzanne Walkowiak of Portsmouth.
Melissa Schulz of New York City was the maid of honor for her friend.
Bridesmaids were Jennifer Monte of Alexandria, Va., and Tammy Scarponi of Portsmouth, friends of the bride, Rebecca Peirce of Boston and Victoria Mesropian, of Malden, Mass., the bridegroom’s cousins.
Carlos Jentimane of Los Angeles was best man for his friend. Ushering the guests were Jeffrey Walkowiak of New York City, the bridegroom’s brother, Philip Scarponi of Portsmouth, Ted Grimbilas of Wakefield and George Marden of Exeter, friends of the bridegroom.
The reception was held at the Inn at Exeter.
Mrs. Walkowiak is a 1992 graduate of Boston University.
She is the vice-president of Fleishman-Hillard International Communications in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Walkowiak is a 1991 graduate of the University of Lowell.
He is a mechanical engineer for Oasis Alignment Services in Mechanicsville, Va.
Following a honeymoon in Scottsdale, Ariz., they are making their home in Alexandria, Va.
