PORTSMOUTH - Megan Sargent and Matthew Grocki were united in marriage June 22, 2002, in St. John’s Episcopal Church.
The Rev. Timothy T. Rich and the Rev. Ann W. Stevenson performed the ceremony.
Readings were offered by Kristin Sousa, Lisa Heckel, Matthew Turner and Doreen Reidy.
Dianne Dean was the organist and Robert Stibler was the trumpeter.
The bride is the daughter of Todd Sargent of Boulder, Colo., and the Rev. Anne E. Ryder of Pagosa Springs, Colo.
The bridegroom is the son of Maureen Reidy-Grocki of Salem, Mass.
Amy Kosh of Brooklyn, N.Y., was the maid of honor for her friend.
Bridesmaids were Jillian Veno of Medford, Mass., and Gwynne Schnaittacher of Portsmouth, friends of the bride, and Erin Grocki of Salem, Mass., the bridegroom’s sister-in-law.
Rebekah Percy and Emily Griese of Salona Beach, Calif., the bride’s cousins, were the flower girls.
Kevin Grocki was best man for his brother. Ushering the guests were Jason Moore and James Pelletier, both of Salem, Mass., and Christian Hopkins of Hartford, Conn., all friends of the bridegroom.
The reception was held at the Portsmouth Country Club.
Mrs. Grocki is a 1995 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor of arts degree. She is employed by Bottomline Technologies.
Mr. Grocki is a 1997 graduate of Saint Michael’s College with a bachelor of arts degree.
He is also employed by Bottomline Technologies.
Following a honeymoon in Aruba they are making their home in Portsmouth.
