GOSPORT HARBOR — Brenna Cavanaugh and Chip Taccetta were united in marriage May 26, 2002, aboard the bridegroom's parents' boat in Gosport Harbor, Isles of Shoals.
Fred Pettigrew officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
Readings were offered by Todd Manning and Jodi Grossman.
The bride's cousin, Erica Buciak, performed on the flute during the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas Cavanaugh of York, Maine, and Debra Curtis of Campton, and was given in marriage by her father.
The bridegroom is the son of Vincent and Connie Taccetta of New Castle.
Caitlin Cavanaugh of Bedford was maid of honor for her sister.
Bridesmaids were Jodi Grossman of Los Angeles, Lisa Bair and Mary Beth Lacoy, both of New York City, Kelly Taccetta of Boston and Shaine Murphy of Portsmouth.
Vincent Marconi of Portsmouth was the best man.
Ushering the guests were Stephen Lord of Rye, Curtis Lang of New Castle, Dan Ball of Greenland, Todd Duty of Portsmouth and Todd Manning of Bedford.
The reception was held at the Elks Hall in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Taccetta is a 1993 graduate of Central High School, Manchester, and attended Northeastern University.
She is a flight attendant for Delta Airlines.
Mr. Taccetta is a 1998 graduate of Portsmouth High School.
He is a self-employed commercial fisherman.
Following a honeymoon in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, they are making their home in Portsmouth.
