HAMPTON — Maurice and Louise (Bodenrader) Shaw, of 450 High St., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary July 4, 2002, with a party at Clay Hill Farm Restaurant in York, Maine, hosted by their children.
They were married July 4, 1942, in Grace Episcopal Church, Lawrence, Mass., with the Rev. Archie H. Crowley officiating.
Edna Desrocher was the bridesmaid and Selwyn Farrar was the best man.
The Shaws have three children, Maureen Shaw of Merrimac, Mass., Joseph Shaw of Kingston and Matthew Shaw of Hampton, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one deceased grandson, Jody Carter.
Mr. Shaw is a retired contractor and Mrs. Shaw is a homemaker.
