Cole - Grossman
RYE BEACH — Claudette Susan Cole and David Alan Grossman were united in marriage Sept. 30, 2001, in St. Andrews By-The -Sea. The Rev. John Denson of Christ Episcopal Church, Exeter, officiated at the ceremony. Karen Cole was the organist and readings were offered by Christopher Cole, Clayton Cole, James Krasner and Ruth and Howard Masters.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cole of North Hampton.
Mr. Grossman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eliot Grossman of Turnersville, N.J.
Claudine Cole of Waterbury, Vt., was the maid of honor for her twin sister. Bridesmaids were Christine Cole of San Francisco, Catherine Cole of Seoul, Korea, and Cynthia Cole of Washington, D.C., sisters of the bride and Brooks Mullen of Bernardsville, N.J., a friend of the bride. Ingrid Lund and Arendse Lund of San Francisco, the bride's nieces, were the flower girls.
Gordon Nicholson of Goffstown was best man for his friend. Ushering the guests were James Kranser of Bloomfield, Mich., the bridegroom's cousin; Howard Masters of Lynnfield, Mass., the bridegroom's brother-in-law; and Norman St. Onge of Candia and Jay Gingrich of Portsmouth, friends of the bridegroom. Samuel Master of Lynnfield, the bridegroom's nephew, was the ring bearer.
The reception was held at the bride's parents' home in North Hampton.
Mrs. Grossman is a 1986 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor of science degree. She received her master's degree in physical therapy in 2001 from Simmons College. She is a physical therapist at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
Mr. Grossman is a 1992 graduate of New Hampshire College with a bachelor of science degree and received his master's degree in business education in 1997. He is a teacher at Nashua High School and a firefighter in Exeter.
Following a honeymoon in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, they are making their home in Exeter.
