Carrie Lynn Richardson and Matthew Wesley Flener, both of Columbia, Mo., were married at 4 p.m. July 24, 2004, at South Side Christian Church by the Rev. John Drage.
The bride is the daughter of David and Gail Richardson of Pawnee.
The groom is the son of Ed and Charlotte Flener of St. John, Mo.
Serving as matrons of honor were Carissa Havens and Becky Heimann. Bridesmaids were Mindy Neff, Allison Neff and Emmy Murphy.
Flower girl was Riley Fowler.
Readers were Tara Hinds and Erin Flener. Bell ringer was Grace Walker.
Best man was Ben Heimann. Groomsmen were Jeff Richardson, Brian Blank, Brad Watts and Adam Lewis. Ring bearers were Nathan and Noah Armstrong.
Bible bearer was Zach Armstrong.
Ushers were Matt Hinds, Andrew Hinds and Jason Routzahn.
A reception was held at Northfield Center.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Pawnee High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. She is on staff with Great Commission Ministries on the University of Missouri at Columbia campus.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Ritenour High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism. He is a morning co-anchor at KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Mo.
The couple lives in Columbia.
