Moore - Nerone
The Saverton Community Church was the setting for the noon Saturday, June 30, 2001 wedding of Amanda Moore and Gary Nerone.
The Rev. Bill Dexheimer officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bob Moore, Vandalia, Mo., and Kathy Moore, of Hannibal.
Parents of the groom are Bill and Carol Nerone, of Auburn, Ill., and Emma Nerone, of Pawnee, Ill.
Bridesmaids were Elaine Willerton, Lubbock, TX, and Amy Gross, of Portland, Ore.
Serving as groomsmen were Al Nerone, of Peoria, Ill., and Kraig Nerone, of Laramie, Wyo., both brothers of the groom.
The flower boy was Keenan Moore, nephew of the bride. Zachary Nerone, nephew of the groom, served as the ringbearer.
Music was provided by Jared Moore, brother of the bride, who served as vocalist and pianist.
An outdoor lunch reception followed the ceremony.
The bride graduated from Hannibal Senior High School in 1994, and from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX in 1998 with a B.S. degree in biology.
She is employed as the Illinois Branch Manager of Heartland Lions Eye Bank in Springfield, Ill.
The groom is a 1980 graduate of Pawnee Senior High, in Pawnee, Ill., and in 1989 earned a B.A. degree in Business Management from Sangamon State University in Springfield, Ill.
He is a Public Administrative Intern at the Illinois State Board of Elections.
After a wedding trip to Italy, the couple is residing in Springfield, Ill.
