Rev. Kenneth and Delores Kuenning Anniversary
Rev. Kenneth D. and Delores Kuenning, 245 31st Ave., Moline, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 5, 2004 at the Church of Peace United Church of Christ, 12th St. and 12th Ave., Rock Island.
Friends are invited to attend.

The former Delores A. Wilson and Kenneth Kuenning, both of St. Mary's Ohio, were married Sept. 5, 1954, in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, in St. Marys.
Rev. Kuenning is a graduate of Eden seminary in St. Louis and is Pastor Emeritus of the Church of Peace.
He served churches in Inglewood, Calif., Rising Sun, Ind.; Staunton, Ill.; and Boonville, Mo., prior to coming to Rock Island in 1969 where he served the Church of Peace until his retirement in 1995, after 26 1/2 years.
Delores Kuenning was formerly employed at Franciscan Medical Center and St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island.
She authored two books, ``Helping People Through Grief,'' and ``Life After Vietnam.''
Their children and spouses, who are hosting the reception, are Laurie and Bill Albright, St. Louis, Mo.; Annette and Peter Hong, Laurens, Iowa; Mary and Bob Gross, Elyria, Ohio; and Paul and Charlotte Kuenning, Eagle Grove, Iowa.
Grandchildren are David and Kristina Hong, Deanna and Emily Kuenning and Sarah Gross.
