John and Gail Kessler Anniversary
John and Gail Kessler, 3226 45th St., Moline, will observe their 40th wedding anniversary on Aug. 22.
The former Gail Davidson, Moline, and Mr. Kessler, Davenport, were married Aug. 22, 1964, in South Park Presbyterian Church, Rock Island.
Their sons and daughters-in-law are Grant and Carolyn Kessler, Chicago, and Dave and Beth Kessler, Bettendorf.
There are two grandchildren, Melanie and Mark.
Mr. Kessler is a project manager with the Sedona Group, Moline.
He previously was employed for 33 years by John Deere & Co., where he was IT manager.
Mrs. Kessler retired in 1997 after nine years employment as owner/operator of Chocolate Lace, a specialty bakery.
