Larry and Kathy Galle Anniversary
Larry and Kathy Galle, 1129 Jacqueline Court, Geneseo, will observe their 40th wedding anniversary on Aug. 22.
As part of their celebration, the couple enjoyed a trip to Florida with all of their children and grandchildren.
The former Kathleen Claeys, Geneseo, and Mr. Galle, Cambridge, were married Aug. 22, 1964, in St. Malachy's Catholic Church, Geneseo, where they hold membership.
Their children and spouses are Todd Galle and his wife Karen DiGenova, Fountain Hills, Ariz.; Lisa and Dave Tews, Bettendorf; and Paula and Pat Wilder, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
There are six grandchildren.
Mr. Galle is employed by the Chicago Street Decorating Center, Geneseo.
He previously was employed for 15 years from 1987 until retiring in 2002, by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
He was a farmer until 1987.
Mrs. Galle is a Realtor for Mel Foster Co.
