Darrell and Betty Gainey Anniversary
Darrell and Betty Gainey, 419 10th Ave., Box 83, Orion, will be honored Aug. 21, 2004 at a family dinner in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The former Betty Crouch, Andover, and Mr. Gainey, Coal Valley, were married Aug. 21, 1954, in Augustana Lutheran Church, Andover.
Their children and spouses are Brad and Diane Gainey, Orion; Joann and Kerry Gannon, Orion; Tamara and Jerry McCormick, Lawrenceberg, Ind.; Jeffrey and Loretta Gainey, Streamwood, Ill.; and Bruce and Heather Gainey, Cambridge.
Their grandchildren are Mark and Heather Gannon; Justin McCormick, and Matthew, Steve, Michael, Kaitland, Elizabeth and Nicholas Gainey.
Mr. Gainey was employed at Farmall Plant of International Harvester Co., Rock Island, and also as superintendent at Valley View Country Club, Cambridge.
Mrs. Gainey is a self-employed beautician.
They belong to the Orion United Methodist Church.
