Don and Bette Samuelson Anniversary
Don and Bette Samuelson, 3115 36th Ave., Rock Island, are observing their 40th wedding anniversary today.
The former Bette Johnson, Moline, and Mr. Samuelson, Rock Island, were married Aug. 8, 1964, in the First Christian Church, Moline.
Their children and spouses are Craig and Mindi Samuelson; Peoria; and Kurt and Julie Samuelson, Rock Island.
heir grandchildren are Angie, Laura, Sheena, and Brandt.
For 53 years Mr. Samuelson was president and co-owner of Quad City Engineering, Rock Island, retiring in 1997.
The couple belong to South Park Prebyterian Church, Rock Island.
The couple are planning to celebrate with a weekend getaway to Chicago.
Don is an avid golfer, and Bette is an accomplished artist.
Both enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
