Kilmer and Billie Anderson Anniversary
Kilmer and Billie Anderson, East Moline, will be honored from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 12, 2004 at a family dinner cruise aboard the Celebration Belle in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.
It is requested that gifts be omitted.
The former Billie Franklin, Little Rock, Ark., and Mr. Anderson, Moline, were married Thursday, Aug. 12, 1954, at Billie's parents home in Little Rock.
Their children and spouses are Brenda and Gary Kaiser, Geneseo; Beth and Mark McVey, Oviedo, Fla.; and Michael Anderson, Granger, Texas.
There are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Anderson was employed as a spray painter in the paint department of American Air Filter, Moline, retiring in 1985 after 33 years.
He also was employed as a contract hauler for 36 years at The Dispatch and Moline Donut Delite for five years.
Mrs. Anderson was employed as a clerk in the layaway department of K-Mart, Moline, retiring in 1998 after 28 years.
They are of the Baptist faith.
