Ronald and Alice Lyons Anniversary
Ronald and Alice L. Lyons, 1311 B 9th St., Moline, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 7, 2004. They will celebrate at a family dinner.
The former Alice Butcher, Rock Island, and Mr. Lyons, Moline, were married Aug. 7, 1954, in Fifteenth Avenue Christian Church, Rock Island, where they hold membership.
Their children are Mona Lea Mlekush, Moline, Sandra Kay Schlorf, Chicago; and Margaret Ann Carroll, East Moline.
They have three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Lyons is a baliff with the Rock Island County Sheriff's Department.
He previously was employed for 36 years at First Midwest Bank, where he was vice president, retiring in 1988.
Mrs. Lyons also retired in 1998 after 30 years at Huebotter's Furniture, where she was manager.
She also worked part-time at the Garden Cottage, Moline.
