Donald and Sylvia Lowery Anniversary
Donald and Sylvia Lowry, 426 S.E. Alfred Markham St., Lake City, Fla., 32025, formerly of the Quad Cities, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on July 31, 2004.
Written greetings would be welcome.
The former Sylvia Stevenson and Mr. Lowry were married July 31, 1954, in Rock Island.
They raised three sons in the Osco area of Henry County.
They are: Donald Jr., Rock Island, and Wallace, who lives in Lake City.
A son, Richard Keith Lowry, passed away in 1979, and is dearly missed.
They have four grandchildren, D. J. Lowry, who they would love to hear from, and Keith, Christopher and Clint, who also live in Lake City.
Donald worked for Churchill Truck Lines for 30 years.
He retired in 1987 and is lovin' it. Sylvia Joyce devoted her time to her children, and also worked at Servus Rubber in Rock Island.
