Jim and Katie Koster Anniversary
Jim and Katie Koster, Rock Island, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 7, 2004.
The former Kathleen Corcoran, Davenport, and Mr. Koster, Rock Island, were married Aug. 7, 1954, in St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Davenport.
Their children and spouses are Becky and Bob Carr, Karen and Bill Warlop, Mark and Kari Koster, and Mike and Vicki Koster.
There are 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. was employed for 35 years at Farmall Plant of International Harvester Co., where he was a tool designer, retiring in 1986.
He then was employed for nine years at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 1995.
Mrs. Koster was employed as secretary to the purchasing agent for Red Jacket, retiring in February of 1955.
The couple belong to St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island.
