Weber and Vera Ziegler Anniversary
Weber and Vera Ziegler, 1025 A St., Silvis, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 8, 2004.
A small celebration was held July 3 at the home of Ted and Susan Ziegler.
The former Veramae Hermanson, Davenport, and Mr. Ziegler, Moline, were married Aug. 8, 1954, in Moline Methodist Church.
Their children and spouses are Renee and Scott Rossi of Danville; Ted and Susan Ziegler of Coal Valley; and Dee and Clint Sollenberger of Carmel, Ind.
Their grandchildren are Tyler and Nick Rossi, Austin Ziegler and Connor and Garrett Sollenberger
Weber retired from International Harvester in 1982 after 31 years.
Veramae retired from the East Moline school district in 1985 after 31 years of teaching.
They are members of the Silvis Methodist Church.
They have an antique shop in Colona.
