James and Leona Burnett Anniversary
James and Leona Burnett, 1236 N. 500 Ave., New Windsor, will be honored June 13 in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, Moline.
It is requested that gifts be omitted.
The former Leona Mitchell and Mr. Burnett were married June 11, 1954, in Moline.
Their children and spouses are Mike and Shirley Burnett, Orion; Susan Hannah, Rock Island; Bob and Deanna Burnett, Coal Valley, and John Burnett, Rock Island.
They have eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
One granddaughter is deceased.
James retired from the Control Center at Deere & Co., Moline, in 1996.
Leona was a charge nurse at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley, retiring in 1995.
