Charles and Maureen Archibald Anniversary
Charles and Maureen Archibald, 2137 3rd St., Moline, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary at a family dinner.
They also were honored in April in Florida, at a surprise gathering of friends.
The former Maureen Johnson, Moline, and Mr. Archibald, Centerville, Iowa, were married June 12, 1954, in Salem Lutheran Church, Moline, where they hold membership.
Their children and spouses are Kevin and Jenny Archibald, Andalusia, and Lori and Brian Flattery, Springfield, Ill.
Their grandchildren are Josh and Reggie Wheatley, and Daniel, Delaney and Patrick Flattery. Great-grandchildren are Gage and Evie Wheatley.
Mr. Archibald was employed for 28 years by the Moline Dispatch Publishing Co., where he was a printer, retiring in 1990.
Mrs. Archibald retired in 1994 after 10 years employment at House of Carpet Inc., where she was bookkeeper.
