Leonard and Lois Fritz, Anniversary
Leonard and Lois Fritz, 592 Forest Road, East Moline, will observe their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 3, 2003.
They will celebrate at a private family dinner.
The former Lois Groth, Moline, and Mr. Fritz, Blue Island, were married in a private ceremony Dec. 3, 1943, in Chicago, while Leonard was home on leave from the Army.
Their children are Michael Fritz, Moline, and Carol Johnson, Geneseo.
There are three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Fritz was employed for 36 years at John Deere Harvester, East Moline, where he was in the experimental department.
He retired in 1982.
Mrs. Fritz was employed for 10 years by Bendle & Associates, Moline, where she was a bookkeeper, retiring in 1983.
The couple hold membership at First Presbyterian Church, East Moline.
