Charles and Mary Massa Anniversary
Charles and Mary Lou Massa, 1504 11th St., Silvis, will observe their 40th wedding anniversary today.
They will be honored at a family dinner to celebrate the event.
They also celebrated with a trip to Maine in October.
The former Mary Lou Wells of East Moline, and Mr. Massa of Silvis, were married Nov. 23, 1963, in the First Presbyterian Church, East Moline, where they hold membership.
Their children and spouses are Mark and Lisa, Ballwin, Mo.; John and Gina, East Moline, and Kristin and Robert Davis, Hampton. There are six grandchildren, Zachary, Rachel, Alyssa, Haley, Harrison and Garrett.
Mr. Massa was employed in Total Package Fielding in the Chemical Command at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 2002.
Mrs. Massa was employed as a legal assistant in the Army Industrial Operations Command Law Center at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 2000.
