Carl and Arlene Cochran Anniversary
Carl and Arlene Cochran, 973 S. Iowa St., Geneseo, will be honored July 13, 2003 at an open house in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 1 to 4 p.m. at Steve Cochran's, 412 E. Palace Row, Geneseo.
It is requested that gifts be omitted.
The former Arlene Specht, Osco, and Mr. Cochran, Rock Island, were married June 17, 1953 in Fort Lewis Chapel, Washington.
Their children are Steve Cochran, Geneseo; Pam Littig, Cleveland, Ill., and Sue Cochran, Coal Valley.
They have five grandchildren, Dawn, Dennis, Justin, Brandon and Katie, and five great-grandchildren, Paige, MacKenzie, Kristopher, Kyler and Madison.
Mr. Cochran was a self-employed homebuilder, retiring in September of 1996.
Mrs. Cochran was employed at North Side Rexall Drug Store, and at Rinks Market.
She also was bookkeeper for her husband's business.
They belong to St. Malachy's Catholic Church, Geneseo.
