Myron and Barbara James Anniversary
Myron ``Pat'' and Barbara James, 17004 10th Ave. N., East Moline, will be honored July 12 at a reception in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend from 2 to 4 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church Hall, 1450 30th Ave., East Moline.
Gifts permitted but not encouraged.
The former Barbara Wilson, Hampton, and Mr. James, Moline, were married July 18, 1953, in Moline Gospel Temple.
Their children and spouses are Brett and Beth Morley, Madison, Wis.; and John and Lori James, East Moline. A son, Michael Lee James, died in 1992.
There are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. James was employed for 32 years by Caterpillar Tractor Co., in Bettendorf and Davenport, where he was a supervisor.
He retired in 1987.
Mrs. James was employed at Buddy-L from 1961 to 1969, and later for 27 years in sales at East Moline Wholesale/Bar-Jan Products, East Moline, retiring in 1995.
The couple attended Moline Gospel Temple for 50 years, and presently are attending the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, Moline.
