Michael and Margaret Cervantes, 1328 W. 47th St. Court, Davenport, will be honored July 12, 2003 at a private family reception to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary.
The former Margaret Garcia, Davenport, and Mr. Cervantes, Moline, were married July 12, 1943, in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Davenport.
Their children are Barbara Cervantes, Davenport; Michael Cervantes Jr., Cedar Rapids; Pamela Clemens, Davenport; and Daniel Cervantes, Frisco, Texas.
There are four grandchildren.
Mr. Cervantes was employed for 15 years in the Building Inspection Department for the city of Davenport, retiring in 1987.
The couple belong to Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport.
