Jerry and Lola Thomas Anniversary
Jerry and Lola Thomas, 304 N. Williams St., Reynolds, observed their 35th wedding anniversary June 1.
The former Lola R. Shinn and Mr. Thomas, both of Davenport, were married June 1, 1968, in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Beardstown, Ill.
Their children are Neila Fitzpatrick, Rock Island; Charles Branham, Marsha Rosenberg and Lisa Kirgan, all of Reynolds; Chrisney Jordan, Stamford, Neb.; and Darrell Thomas, Heidelberg, Germany. There are 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and another on the way.
Mr. Thomas was employed for 30 years by HQ, Army Armament Munitions and Chemical Command, at the Rock Island Arsenal, where he was an industrial specialist.
He retired in April 1993. Mrs. Thomas was employed for 18 years at the Rock Island Arsenal as a bindery operator, retiring in February 1993.
