Max and Patricia Bennett Anniversary
Max and Patty Bennett, Rock Island, observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 31, 2003.
They celebrated in Scottsdale, Ariz., and also will celebrate with family at a later date.
The former Patricia Lee Moortel and Mr. Bennett, both of Moline, were married Jan. 31, 1953, in Moline.
They have a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Tom Newenham, Moline, and one granddaughter, Alexandra.
Mr. Bennett is retired from the Rock Island Arsenal.
Mrs. Bennett is a homemaker.
