Deane and Marjorie Morey Anniversary
Deane and Marjorie Morey, 419 Elk St., Cambridge, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 28, 2002.
The former Marjorie Asbell and Mr. Morey were married Dec. 28, 1952, at Calvary Baptist Church, Kewanee.
Their children and spouses are Dianna and Tunis Hunt, Lake Wylie, S.C.; Marvin and Joyce Morey, Kewanee; Cheryl and Dennis Evert, Cambridge; Douglas Morey, Longwood, Fla.; and Wendy and John Mowery, Lancaster, Pa. There are 12 grandchildren.
All of them spent Christmas week in Canaveral Towers, Cape Canaveral, Fla.
Mr. Morey was in the insurance business and was manager of SVEA Mutual Insurance Company, Orion, for 26 years.
Mrs. Morey was a hearing and vision technician for the Henry County Health Department.
