Wyffels - Horner
Susan Marie Wyffels and Eric Charles Horner, both of Chicago, were married Oct. 27, 2002 in Alice Miller Chapel, Evanston.
Officiating at the 5 p.m. ceremony were the Rev. Mark Reshan and Deacon Harley Chaffee.
Parents of the bride are Jim and Betsy Wyffels, Geneseo, and the bridegroom is the son of Richard and Clair Horner, Brookfield, Conn.
Honor attendants were Jenna MacLaughlan and Benjamin Longlet.
Other attendants were Meredith Horner and James A. Wyffels; Michael J. Wyffels and MacArthur Antigua were ushers.
There was a reception in the Hilton Garden Inn, Evanston.
The honeymoon destination was Kauai, Hawaii, and Calistoga, Calif., Napa Valley.
The couple resides in Chicago.
The bride received a fine arts degree from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Ind.; a master of arts degree and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Ind.
She is assistant state’s attorney for Cook County State’s Attorney office, Chicago.
The bridegroom graduated from Northwestern University, Evanston, with a bachelor of fine arts degree, and is pursuing a master’s of divinity degree at Lutheran School of Theology, University of Chicago.
He is director of youth and family ministries at United Lutheran Church, Oak Park.
