Jacqueline Chlopowicz and Nicholas Minas, both of Cary, N.C., were married Sept. 28, 2002 in Christ the King Chapel, St. Ambrose University.
The Rev. Charles ``Chuck'' Adam officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Timothy and Susan Chlopowicz, 114 Glenview Court, Sherrard, and the bridegroom is the son of Deno and Barbara Minas, 1 Windcrest Lane, Coal Valley.
The bride's gown was made by Barbara Radigan, Rock Island, and flowers were arranged by Country Greenery, Colona.
Matron of honor was Missy Wahlheim, and S. Eric Lyons was best man.
Other attendants were Ali Minas, Nina Lorah, Emilie Yount, Bridget O'Hern, Amanda Oimas, Angela and Drew Minas, Geoff Manis, Scott Johnson, Mike Mourning, Rob Deiss, Lamont Turcotte, Kile Krol and Eric Yount.
There was a reception at the Isle of Capri, Grand Ballroom, Bettendorf.
The honeymoon destination was Hilton Head Island, S.C. The couple resides in Cary.
Both the bride-elect and prospective bridegroom graduated from Alleman High School.
She also graduated from St. Ambrose University and is employed by the Sanford Holshouser law firm, Raleigh, N.C.
He graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and is employed by John Deere in Fuquay-Varina, N.C.
