Joseph and Sally Krol Anniversary
Joseph and Sally Krol, 253 5th St., Silvis, will be honored June 9, 2002 at a reception in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 3 to 6 p.m. at the VFW Post 2056, 722 15th Ave., East Moline.
It is requested that gifts be omitted.
The former Sally Owens, East Moline, and Mr. Krol, Silvis, were married June 14, 1952, in St. Anne's Catholic Church, East Moline.
Their children and spouses are Michele and Gil Gibson, Fenton; and Jolene and Dan Kannenberg, and Kevin and Angie Krol, all of East Moline.
There are five grandchildren.
Mr. Krol was in the Navy Air Force from 1946-1948.
He was employed for 34-1/2 years by International Harvester East Moline Works as an electronic data processing operator.
He retired March 1, 1984. Mrs. Krol is a homemaker.
The couple belongs to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis.
