Carolyn and Holger Lund Anniversary
Carolyn and Holger Lund, 13117 78th Ave., Taylor Ridge, will be honored June 7, 2002 at a family dinner at O'Melia's in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The former Carolyn Woeber, Rock Island, and Mr. Lund, Clinton, Iowa, were married June 7, 1952, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rock Island.
Their children and spouses are David and Lorri Lund, Taylor Ridge; LuAnn Kerr, Kareen Lund, and Sandy and Lonnie Stephenson, all of Rock Island; Linda Seffrood, Wheaton; Lorrie and Jim Huiskamp, Keokuk, Iowa; and John Lund, Chicago.
There are 13 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
Mr. Lund was employed for 36 years by Blondell Plumbing as a plumber. He retired in 1993.
Mrs. Lund was employed for 16 years by Rock Island Township as the supervisor.
She was also a member of the Rock Island County Board for eight years representing District 17.
She retired in 1993.
The couple belongs to St. Patrick's Church, Andalusia.
