Oliver and Dorothy Schneck Anniversary
Oliver and Dorothy Schneck, 1209 21st Ave., Rock Island, will be honored June 9, 2002 at an open house in observance of their 70th wedding anniversary.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the Activity Center at Friendship Manor, 1209 21st Ave., Rock Island.
It is requested that gifts be omitted.
The former Dorothy M. Moorehead, Chicago, and Mr. Schneck, Joy, were married June 11, 1932, in Chicago.
They have a daughter, Arline G. Stevenson, Mesa, Ariz. Daughter Margaret ``Peggy'' Henry is deceased. There are eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Mr. Schneck retired as assistant postmaster at the Moline Post Office, and Mrs. Schneck retired from Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric Company.
The couple belongs to South Park Presbyterian Church, Rock Island.
