Fred and Shirley Schultz Anniversary
Fred and Shirley Schultz, 1206 8th Ave., Silvis, will be honored April 2, 2002 at a family dinner in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The former Shirley Williams, Reynolds, and Mr. Schultz, East Moline, were married April 2, 1952, in St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline.
Their children and spouses are Teresa and Dave Nelson, Rock Island, Brenda and Dave Christensen and Mark Schultz, all of East Moline, Jeff Schultz, Oak Harbor, Wash., Steve and Deana Schultz, San Antonio, Texas, and Gary and Beth Schultz, Williamston, S.C.
There are 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Schultz has been employed for 39 years as a pressman at DeSaulniers Printing Co.
Mrs. Schultz was employed as a registered nurse in the Newborn Nursery at Moline Public Hospital for 28 years, retiring September 1988.
The couple belongs to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis.
