The Rev. Jennifer Wilson officiated at the 11 a.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tony and Laura Ybarra, East Moline, and Gene and Ana Schindler, Fresno, CA.
Parents of the bridegroom are Jim and Corinne Briggs, East Moline.
A family reception is being planned, and the couple will take a honeymoon trip to Florida at a later date.
They reside in Rock Island.
The bride graduated from United Township High School and from Western Illinois University, Macomb.
She is employed as a SAP business analyst at Kone, Inc., Moline.
The bridegroom graduated from Alleman High School and the Fire Academy at the University of Illinois.
He is employed as a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Rock Island and a paramedic at Illini Hospital, Silvis.
