SHANNON MELIA ENGAGED TO TIMOTHY J. PHILLIPS
Michael and Melody Melia of North Stonington have announced the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Ann of Groton, to Timothy J. Phillips, also of Groton.
He is the son of Wayne and Doris Phillips of Hampstead, N.C.
Miss Melia graduated from Wheeler High School in 1997 and received a bachelor's degree in sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2001.
Mr. Phillips graduated from Topsail High School in 1993.
He is a fire control technician first class petty officer submarine qualified in the United States Navy serving aboard the USS Albuquerque.
The wedding will take place on April 26, 2003.
