SHERRY RIGGS AND PATRICK VANVICKLE ENGAGED
James and Sherry Riggs of Potter Hill Road, Westerly, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Riggs, of Raleigh, N.C., to Patrick VanVickle, also of Raleigh.
He is the son of W. Stephen and Judy Ann VanVickle of Sedalia, Mo.
Ms. Riggs is a graduate of Westerly High School and of Rhode Island College.
She is employed at Lincoln Heights Elementary School.
Mr. VanVickle graduated from Sacred Heart High School and North Carolina State University.
He is employed by Sumitomo Electric Lightwave.
An Oct., 6, 2001, wedding is planned.
