Calvary United Methodist Church in Middletown was the setting for the Nov. 11, 2002, wedding of Jennifer Lynn Jansen and Eric Christian Emerson.
The Rev. James Hensley officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale K. Jansen of Franklin, Mass.
The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Emerson of Newport.
Cynthia O'Hara was the maid of honor, and Bert Emerson, brother of the bride, served as best man.
Bridesmaids were Ellen Emerson-Dyl, sister of the groom; Martha Emerson, Kathryn McLaughlin, Alison Ireland, Jessica DiNapoli, Nicole DiNapoli, and Laurie Jansen.
The junior bridesmaid was Andrea Ferguson and the flower girl was Pearl Emerson.
The ushers were Shawn Jansen, brother of the bride; Tim Dyl, Liam Clancy, Dave Wiggins, Brian Rodrigues, Jon McCurdy, Ron Poirier, Pat McCrone and Mark Kublin.
Jonah Emerson was the ring bearer.
A reception at Belcourt Castle in Newport followed the ceremony.
The couple visited Key West and Orlando on their honeymoon.
The bride graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, Mass., and the Rhode Island School of Design.
She is the project manager at ExNihilo in Providence, and a dance instructor at the Deane School of Music in Mendon, Mass.
The groom is a graduate of Rogers High School, Newport, and Rhode Island College.
He is employed at the Rhode Island School of Design and is the owner of Emerson Creative in Providence.
