REYNOLDSVILLE — Jennifer Ann Sweka and David Alan Fye exchanged wedding vows at the St. Mary Catholic Church on Sept. 4, 1999.
The Rev. Msgr. John Mignot united the couple in matrimony.
The bride is the daughter of Jonathan and Ruth Sweka of RD2, Reynoldsville.
The groom is the son of Thomas and Marilyn Fye of RD1, Brookville.
The bride chose Rebecca Pennington of DuBois for her matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Sue Hannah and Trudy Hallowell of Reynoldsville, and Kristie Spicher, cousin of the bride, Penfield.
Pat Keller of Reynoldsville served as best man. Ushers were Mike Adamski of Reynoldsville, Nathan Clinger of Brookville, and John Sweka, brother of the bride, Morgantown, W.Va.
A reception followed at the Sykesville Town Hall.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a degree in elementary and special education.
She is an instructional support teacher at St. Catherine’s Elementary School.
Her husband is a 1996 graduate of Clarion University with a degree in social studies education.
He is a direct service coordinator at Bethphage. The Fyes live in Reynoldsville.
