The bridegroom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Shakespeare Carr of Atlanta, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He is executive vice president of the Woodruff Arts Center and president of Atlanta Landmarks Inc.
Following a wedding trip to England, the newlyweds will live in Atlanta.
