Mr. and Mrs. William L. Effinger Jr. of Atlanta, formerly of Roseland, N. J., announce the marriage of their daughter, Dr. Lauraine Jean Effinger, to Dr. Peter Killip Davidson of Rochester, N.Y.
The marriage was performed April 5, 1986 at the Marsh Chapel of Boston University.
Dr. Effinger graduated cum laude from Bryn Mawr College, and from Cornell Medical College.
She is chief medical resident at Boston City Hospital.
Dr. Davidson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Davidson, graduated with honors from Haverford College, and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
He is a senior medical resident at Boston City Hospital.
