Mr. and Mrs. Larry E. Brumbaugh of Hannibal will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner hosted by their children on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001, at Sprout's Inn in Quincy, Ill.
Joyce Marie Elliott and Larry Elmer Brumbaugh were united in marriage on Oct. 27, 1961, at Fifth Street Baptist Church in Hannibal.
The Rev. Francis Kelly officiated.
Attendants were Shirley Carmen and Neil Stice.
Mrs. Brumbaugh is the daughter of the late Helen Nickason and Roscoe Elliott.
Mr. Brumbaugh is the son of Louveta Brumbaugh of Lewistown and the late Elmer Brumbaugh.
They are the parents of two children, Rodney Brumbaugh of Hannibal and Helen Roberts of New London.
They have two grandsons, Kyle and Scot Roberts.
Mr. Brumbaugh is the owner and operator of Larry's Household Appliance Service.
He is a member of St. Johns Lodge No. 28.
Mrs. Brumbaugh is a social service coordinator at Willow Care Center.
They are both members of the Loafers Car Club and South Side Christian Church.
