Mr. and Mrs. Edward S. Cunningham Sr. will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner hosted by their children.
Anna Ruth Maple and Edward Samuel Cunningham Sr. were united in marriage on Nov. 25, 1961, at the home of the bride's parents.
The Rev. William Hereford officiated.
Attendants were Larry A. Cunningham and Jean Williams.
Mrs. Cunningham is the daughter of the late Vernon and Allie Maple.
Mr. Cunningham is the son of the late Everett and Mary Cunningham.
They are the parents of five children, Edward S. Cunningham Jr., LaVon Lilly and Chad Cunningham, all of Hannibal, David A. Cunningham of Kremmling, Colo., and Laura Cunningham of New London. They have four grandchildren.
Mr. Cunningham is employed by Unicco Maintenance at BASF and Mrs. Cunningham is a receiving clerk at Buckhorn Rubber Products.
They are active members of Hydesburg United Methodist Church.
