LaGuardia 68th wedding anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (Kathryn Huddle) LaGuardia Jr., of Kingsport celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on May 19, 2011.
They have nine children, 28 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Mr. LaGuardia owned and operated the former Giant Food Markets and Jiffy Markets, which were located throughout East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and western North Carolina.
Mrs. LaGuardia has been very active with the Christine LaGuardia Phillips Cancer Center and served many years as chairperson of the Wellmont Cancer Advisory Board.
They are members of St. Dominic Catholic Church.
