Maggie Welch and William Stearns, both of Nashua, N.H., were married Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999 at Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford.
The bride is the daughter of Janet and Ethan Welch of Admiralty Way, Webster. The bridegroom is the son of William Stearns of Worcester, Mass.
The bride, a graduate of Tufts University in Medford, Mass., is pursuing her master's degree in computer science at Boston University. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. Both are are software engineers at Nortel Networks in Billerica, Mass.
Ellen Granter of Boston and Anne Sheridan of Washington, D.C., both sisters of the bride, were matrons of honor. Fred Shea of Hollis, Mass., was the best man. Chelsea Stearns, 8, of Nashua, is the bridegroom's daughter.
The reception was at the wedding site.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
