Antoinette and Charles Patronella
On New Year's Eve 1949, family and friends gathered at San Leo Luca for a dinner dance celebration to ring in the New Year of 1950. It was here that the planets aligned and Charles Patronella (age 16) and Antoinette Sedita (age 14) would lay eyes on each other for the very first time. Four (4) short years later, on January 24, 1954 Antoinette Sedita and Charles Patronella were married in a beautiful ceremony at Annunciation Catholic Church in downtown Houston. Ultimately, this grand union of Charles, an architect and construction sub-contractor (Tennessee Tile Inc.) and Antoinette, a dedicated stay at home mom, produced four sons and twelve grandchildren. Antoinette and Charles have focused their attention and energy on their children and grandchildren as well as being extremely involved in numerous community projects, especially those promoting and advancing Italian heritage, tradition, and culture in their community. Antoinette's greatest gift is her unending love and concern for others; giving her Mom and Dad, time and efforts to make other people's lives better is her greatest reward.
