Miss Carolyn Anne Carmel and Mr. David Edward Hayes were united in marriage on Saturday October 2, 2004 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Monsignor Donald Zimmerman. A reception followed at the Park City Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Patricia Bee Carmel and Mr. Thomas D. Carmel of Spring. The bride graduated from Klein High School and Texas Tech University and has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Carolyn is Marketing Manager for Property Automation Software in Dallas.
The groom is the son of David Arthur Hayes of Parker, Colorado and the late Anna Hayes Apley. The groom graduated from Walden Preparatory School in Dallas and attended Richland Community College. David is Purchasing Manager for Oakley homes in Dallas.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. For her wedding, the bride wore an elegant strapless, light ivory silk gown, designed by Jim Hjelm, couture collection. The maid of honor was Elizabeth Carmel, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Patricia Goin, Jennifer Herring, Kristin Rabel, Marta Sibick, and Andrea Womack. The flower girl was Anna Schiller, and the ring bearer was Jacob Sibick.
The groom's best man was Anthony Valdez. The groomsmen were Matthew Ehman, Amir Mohtasham, Adam Russell, Brett Sassali, and Matthew Sassali.
Following their honeymoon to St. Kitts, Carolyn and David will reside in Dallas.
