Susan Elizabeth Collins and Vincent John Giacona were united in Holy Matrimony on Saturday, January 17, 2004 at The Woodlands United Methodist Church in The Woodlands, Texas. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Robert Renfroe. Music for the ceremony was provided by the classical string quartet, Classic Sounds, led by Andy Yu, Hammer Dulcimer player Peggy Carter, classical guitarist Dr. Larry Burgess, Organist Paul Butt, soloist Karen Collins, sister of the bride, soloist Angela Bailey, cousin of the groom, piano soloist Greg Giacona, cousin of the groom, and The Woodlands United Methodist Church Ensemble Choir. Dinner and dancing at The Woodlands Resort followed after the ceremony.
Serving as Matron of Honor was Christina Rea, Maid of Honor was Marie Guillot and Flower Girl was Elizabeth Bailey. Serving as Best Man for the groom was Keith Brenton and groomsman was Greg Giacona. Gunnar Rea served as ring bearer and Taylor Patterson served as escort of the Bride. Also included in the ceremony was Alix Rodwell as scripture reader, Stephen Bailey as Holy Communion server, and Brian Hall and William "Skip" Clarke as Ushers.
Special guests for the ceremony included Jan Freeman, sister of the bride, and Rosetta and Salvatore Caruso of Palermo, Italy, aunt and uncle of the groom.
Susan is a Corporate Account Manager with the Hewlett - Packard Corporation and Vince is a managing partner with Seamless Solutions, Inc. Following a honeymoon to the Hawaiian Islands, the couple now reside in The Woodlands, Texas.
The Bride is the daughter of Mrs. Sue Collins and the late Shirl C. Collins. The Groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Giacona.
