Brianna Susan Bush and Kyle Robert Oliver were united in marriage on Saturday, July 31, 2004 at half past seven o'clock in the evening at Shirley Acres in Houston. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Rabbi Marc Brownstein. The ceremony music was provided by Meryl Ettelson (pianist) and Steve Warkentin (trumpeter). Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a dinner reception in the Garden Room at Shirley Acres. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Pappasito's. Harriet Kahn, grandmother of the bride, hosted a bridesmaid luncheon at Brennan's on the day of the wedding.
Brianna is the daughter Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Bush of Houston. She is the granddaughter of Harriet Kahn and the late Dr. Joseph Kahn and the late Juanita and Phil Bush. Kyle is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Oliver, Sr. He is the grandson of Dorothy Valentia and Robert Oliver and the late Catherine Oliver.
Janessa Bush served her sister as Maid of Honor and Ruth Ann Anderson served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids included Anne-Laure Convert, Rachael Holden, Aimee Pierce, and Mary Younger. House Party included Jennifer Bowles, Natalie Archer, and Michelle Crow. Frank Oliver, Jr., brother of the groom, and Steve McCabe, uncle of the groom, served as best men. Groomsmen included Alex VanDuzer, Mike Wilkinson, Chad Baker, and Bobby Skyles. The ring bearer was Tyler Wilkinson. Ushers included Jody Kahn, Bobby Clark, and Darrell Morrison.
Brianna is a graduate of North Shore High School, Baylor University, and the University of Texas Houston Dental Branch. She will be practicing dentistry in the Woodlands. Kyle is a graduate of Cy-Fair High School. He attended Cisco College and is now a superintendent at N & S Construction Company.
Following a Hawaiian honeymoon, the couple will reside in Houston.
